世界的に有名なガラス作家のガレ、ラリックをはじめとして、ガラスの本場ヴェネチア（イタリア）、ボヘミア（チェコ）の作品を展示しております。様々な技法を駆使し、ガラスの美しさを最大限に引き出した作品の数々をどうぞご覧下さい。また、展示室の他にも宇宙空間にいるような幻想的な体験が出来るミラールームも併設しております。

We have Venetian and Bohemian glasses. Exhibits includes world famous glass by Gare, Tiffany, and Lalique. Glass on display shows many various techniques each piece individual unique and with a beauty of its own. Also experience feeling and looking into space in the mirror room.Entry charges for the museum are 600yen for adults and 400yen for children.

見応えのある品々を多数展示

展示室には新旧のガラス作家の作品及び有名アーティストの作品を約１００点展示致しております。約１００年前のアール・ヌーボー期の作品やごく最近では１９９７年にスキージャンプの葛西選手がＷ杯で優勝した際に授与されたトロフィーのレプリカなど，見応えのある品々を多数展示致しております。

ボヘミアガラス Bohemia the glass

ベネチアガラスに遅れること約１世紀。旧東ドイツのボヘミア地方で発達した工芸技術で「カリ（炭酸カリウム）クリスタル」と呼ばれ，水晶の様な無色透明の美しさが特徴です。このガラスは強度がとても高く，表面に細かい切削模様（エングレイヴィング）を施すのに適し，現代まで続くボヘミアガラスの代表的なデザイン様式となっています。
